Yesterday afternoon, February 26, ten Grade 11 students from the Cordillera Regional Science High School (CRSHS) shared the results of their study on pedestrian lane safety and regulation within Km. 3 to Km. 6 of Halsema Highway, titled “Paths to Safety”. La Trinidad is moving forward with the development of a strategic plan prioritizing the local cacao industry. Mayor Roderick Awingan reaffirmed the municipality’s full support for cacao growers and processors during a recent meeting facilitated by Office of the Municipal Agriculture focal person Marilyn Mangeg. The initiative centers on expanding production capacity and strengthening value-added processing to position La Trinidad as a competitive hub for high-quality cacao. K

Today, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) convened a Multi-Stakeholder Forum at the Strawberry Valley Hotel, reinforcing La Trinidad’s collective commitment to safeguarding children against exploitation and abuse. TRIAL COURT VISITS PROPOSED OFFICE RELOCATION
Personnel from the La Trinidad Municipal Trial Court (MTC) conducted a walkthrough of their proposed temporary office yesterday, February 25. The office is located within the multi-purpose building beside the Km. 5 Pay Parking Area. Legal Officer Atty. Victor Singa Jr. and Municipal Engineer Benedict Pineda guided the group through the facility. The success of an inter-municipal partnership took center stage as officials from La Trinidad, led by Mayor Roderick Awingan, joined the 6th Founding Anniversary of the Pomberera Ornamental Cut Flower Association on February 25, 2026, at Business Park Pomberera in Guagua.
